Sony’s excellent WH-1000XM2 are the gold standard when it comes to active noise cancelling headphones but for some, the over-ear design may be a dealbreaker. In recent months we’ve seen several laptops derive their inspiration from Apple’s iconic MacBook range. The Jumper EZBook 2 looks like a 13-inch MacBook Air while the Xiaomi Air 12 borrows heavily from the MacBook Air and the MacBook Pro . Chinese vendor Chuwi follows this trend with the LapBook Air, a notebook that doesn’t differ much from the aforementioned rivals in physical terms. If you ever wanted to run Windows on a MacBook Air, this is probably the closest you will ever get – and it is no coincidence that Chuwi opted to use the word ‘Air’ in the name. Design As expected, the laptop has a tapered profile – it’s probably as pronounced as the MacBook Air with the thinnest end of the wedge being only 6mm thick. The Fossil Q Accomplice fuses basic smarts with the traditional look of a watch, providing a low-key hybrid timepiece that will nudge you when you get a notification. Xerox likes to boast that it’s ‘the company that created the modern workplace’ and we’re pleased to see that it is still innovating in the MFP category. We’re referring to the ConnectKey technology, which is a suite of connected functionality, fronted by a 5-inch touchscreen that offers up a smorgasbord of apps instead of a traditional menu. These apps make a variety of tasks almost as intuitive as if you were using a smartphone. Xerox recommends this VersaLink model to small and medium-sized businesses, but we think it has the features and capacity to meet the demands of larger offices – although for very high-volume printing, Xerox has the AltaLink range.
