Beko Telvo Duo TKM8961 Turkish Coffee Machine

Image
30-second review While there are plenty of espresso makers out in the market, it’s rare that you see a machine dedicated to making Turkish coffee. If you’re a fan of this thick, strong brew, then the Beko Telvo Duo Turkish Coffee Machine is definitely something to have in your kitchen. What’s impressive about it is that it makes enough Turkish coffee to serve six people, and while that might be great for larger gatherings, it’s a bit of overkill if you just occasionally want a single cup. This also means that the machine is larger than most single-brew machines, so you’ll need to have enough counter space to keep it handy. But what the Beko Telvo Duo does well is a good cup of coffee. Turkish coffee can be a bit finicky to prepare, so this machine takes a lot of the guesswork (and mess) out of preparing it. In under a minute or two, you’ll have a frothy cup of coffee in your hands, and enough caffeine to get you through your day. Price and availability The Beko Telvo Duo is avai...

Electrolux Flow A3

Image
One-minute review Many households are warming up to having air purifiers in their rooms, whether it’s a larger one for a common family area or a smaller one for individual bedrooms. The Electrolux Flow A3 is a fairly compact air purifier that’s great for an individual room or small space. It’s stylish enough to not immediately look like an air purifier, though its grey appearance may make it stand out a bit more. It’s deceptively easy to set up – just unpack it, add the filter, and turn it on. The Flow A3 automatically adjusts its fan speed in response to particles and allergens in the environment, and a unique spiral airflow method ensures that clean air is distributed as quickly as possible. The minimalism continues to its interface as well, which sports very few buttons to keep things as easy as possible. The Flow A3 is quick to leap into high gear when it detects smoke and other aerosols in the air, so you know that you’ll be breathing clean air in no time. Of course, this sim...

Huawei Watch 3 Pro

Image
One-minute review For its past few watches, Huawei had switched from WearOS to its own Lite OS. This change led to Huawei losing access to apps on its watches but gaining a much better battery life. Huawei has now folded Lite OS into Harmony OS, which is expected to power all Huawei smart devices moving forward. For its 2021 flagship wearable, Huawei is relying on HarmonyOS 2.0 that not only brings third-party app support, but with a battery saver option, helps the Watch 3 Pro last for up to 21 days. The new OS also brings a particular new flair to the Watch 3 Pro, resulting in a clean interface, smooth animations, and an overall pleasant experience to navigate.  Along with the new look comes a whole host of smarts, including temperature tracking, SpO2, stress and sleep monitoring, and much more. For a watch as stylish as the Watch 3 Pro, there’s a lot that can be done just by sitting on your wrist. A new addition is the eSIM feature, which breaks the Watch 3 Pro away from yo...

Colorful iGame GeForce RTX 3070 Ti Vulcan OC 8G-V

Image
One minute review With the release of the RTX 3070 Ti and RTX 3080 Ti cards, graphics card manufacturers are hoping to get their GPUs into the hands of eager gamers who’ve been left high and dry due to massive shortages and unfair price hikes. One of the more expensive RTX 3070Ti models on the market is the iGame GeForce RTX 3070 Ti Vulcan OC 8G-V from Colorful – not only is it a mouthful to pronounce, it’s also got some pretty snazzy features that might just make it a card worth splurging for. For one thing, it’s got a screen attached to it. We’ve seen CPU coolers sporting LCDs before, but not so much with GPUs. Aorus did tack on a screen to their RTX 30xx cards last year, but Colorful really hits it out of the park with their  version that’s bigger and offers much more control. The argument to pay extra for a GPU with a screen on it may be lost on most people, but for those with interesting PC builds, it’s a great thing to show off. The screen is more than a gimmick as wel...

Biostar Z590I Valkyrie Motherboard

Image
One-minute review While Biostar may not be the most popular gaming motherboard brand, it’s certainly one that demands your attention, and the Z590I Valkyrie motherboard is an excellent example of this. Geared towards compact PC builds, the Z590I Valkyrie offers everything you need for a good motherboard, including support for the latest Intel processors as well as comfortable amount of storage options. The single PCIe slot will of course most likely be taken up by your GPU, but when it comes to expansion there’s a healthy amount of ports at the back as well as two M.2 ports for SSDs and SATA ports for regular hard drives. The 64GB of RAM is almost overkill, but still a welcome addition for this board. Though we would have liked to see supported RAM speeds around 5000Hz for more enthusiast builds, everyday users will most likely be satisfied. There’s very little to complain about with the Z590I Valkyrie, as performance was overall very good for this tiny board. Both games and regul...
