Replacing the Invincible 3, the Nike Vomero 18 combines ZoomX and React X foam, as well as the largest stack height we've ever seen in the Vomero line, 46mm. They take their place as the third shoe in Nike's recalibrated road running line-up, alongside the Structure range for runners who overpronate, and the popular Pegasus 41 as an everyday trainer. Amazfit Active 2: One minute review (Image credit: Future) In my 10 years of using Apple Watch, the Amazfit Active 2 is the closest I've ever come to ditching my Apple Watch Ultra 2 . Subjectively, the styling of the Active 2 isn't normally what I'd lean to, but Amazfit has nailed a clearly classic stainless steel design that will delight fans looking for a more subtle, understated smartwatch. For just $99, the Amazfit Active 2 far outstrips its price tag, punching well above its weight in terms of features, fitness tracking accuracy, and more. Its battery life is to be lauded and definitely holds up to Amazfit's claims. It's not perfect: it doesn't quite sit flush on my wrist, and to get NFC you have to pay $30 extra for the premium model. However, the astonishing $99 price tag covers up all of the quirks to render this a pure five-star pick in my book. CMF Watch Pro 2: One minute review (Image credit: Future) The CMF Watch Pro 2 is undoubtedly one of the best cheap smartwatches you can buy right now, if not the absolute best pick, and it wins huge points purely for its incredibly affordable price tag. Despite the cost-saving efforts, it has an impressive design and build and comes with plenty of features that make it a perfect beginner smartwatch for anyone new to the form factor. The screen is perfectly adequate, the software works well enough, and there are myriad smartwatch features including workout tracking, sleep monitoring, GPS, and more. However, it lacks a couple of key features, including NFC payments, and it can't really be used in water. Also, some of its features, like raise and tap to wake, as well as workout detection, are a little temperamental. Nike Pegasus 41: Two-Minute review (Image credit: Future) The Nike Pegasus 41 isn't the best running shoe in nearly any of the specialist categories you can think of, and for that reason, it's probably the best shoe for nearly everyone. The Pegasus 41 is a mainstay, your only dance move, ol' reliable. There's a reason this shoe has been around since 1982. It doesn't have a carbon plate or a super light upper, it's not a race-day shoe or a high-mileage hero with more foam than a mattress. Quite simply, it's the one running shoe that I'd recommend for almost everyone in nearly every situation. Reebok Nano X5: Two-Minute Review (Image credit: Future) Reebok's famed Nano gym shoe is back for 2025, and the company has promised big things for the " Official Shoe of Fitness" this year. Sporting shades of the legacy design of previous Nanos, the X5 delivers a new DUALRESPONSE Midsole and a Decoupled Metasplit Outsole, designed to give this year's edition greater flexibility and runnability over previous years. At its heart, though, the X5 is still the brilliant stable lifting platform of its forebears, and after a whole month of using it in the gym, I can heartily recommend it as one of the best gym shoes of 2025 .
