Death Stranding: Director’s Cut is not only the best way to play this unique and beguiling adventure, but it acts as the blueprint by which all future PS5 re-releases should be judged. Death Stranding was already a gorgeous game, with a lovingly-digitised version of its cast, including Norman Reedus and Mads Mikkelsen. But the PS5 version looks better still, taking full advantage of the added horsepower under the hood. “Performance” and “Quality” modes are both present.
