One-minute review It’s been almost 20 years since the original Roomba robot vacuum launched and now robot vacuums are ten-a-penny, and a staple in many households.   iRobot’s latest incarnation, the Roomba S9 Plus, might operate on similar principles, but thanks to a host of high-tech features, it’s a very different beast from the first iteration, and one of the best robot vacuums we've tested to date.  Most noticeably, it’ll empty itself, meaning that rather than shaking out a dust box every few days, it’ll whisk out the contents from the vacuum into a bag in the charging station. As the capacity of the bag is 14.9oz / 440ml, which equates to around 30 cleans, this turns a daily job into a monthly one – great for those who are time-poor or dislike emptying the dust box. One-minute review Eufy may be more well-known for some of the best video doorbells and home security cameras , the brand also offers a range of robot vacuums , which while it isn’t vast, does offer something to suit everyone.  For the technophobe, there’s the app-free RoboVac 11S, while for those that want a time-saving device; there's the G30 Hybrid that can vacuum and mop. One-minute review Eufy might be a smart home company, majoring in the best video doorbells and home security cameras besides robot vacuums , but unlike some, making easy-to-use products is its USP. So it comes as no surprise that one of its entry-level models, the RoboVac 11S, is devilishly simple to use. There’s no app, no WiFi control, no voice control – just a charging station, remote control, and a sleek, slimline vacuum cleaner.  This isn’t to say it’s a basic appliance. If anything, much of its simplicity comes from a thoughtful design and an excellent balance of functionality – there’s enough flexibility to be able to switch between spot, overall and perimeter cleaning, and three power levels, but not so many options that it’s overwhelming.
