Lenovo ThinkStation P3 Tiny Gen 2 review: A mini PC workstation for those who need pro-grade performance in a pint-sized package

Image
Lenovo continues to dominate the professional desktop marketplace. I see Lenovo everywhere in my day to day professional careers. They have a firm grasp on the market and a good reason for that is that they seem to keep putting out reliable heavy hitters release after release. Sure there are others that are also killing it, but when it comes to the trust that those who have the power to purchase business bulk, Lenovo is pretty high up on that list for many. The P3 Tiny Gen 2 is just another example of a fantastic offering for those who need just a basic PC for workstations, server access, front desks, and TVs. If you need a professional computer to run something, but nothing too big, then check out the P3 Tiny Gen 2. On paper, in no way is it the best mini PC we've tested on paper. But this workstation depends on a very clear set of business use-cases, so it may be the best for your scenari...

Simple Height Adjustable Desk review: A mid-range standing desk with more depth than the 'simple' name might suggest

Image
In a time when there are 18,000 different standing desk companies, and I'm getting a different standing desk sent to me every single week, it's good to see that there are still some that stick to the basics and don't upcharge for a brand name. Yes, I do think that in a capitalist economy we need some tried-and-true brand names, but it's good to still see some that are trying to create cheaper alternatives of quality gear without trying to rip people off. Simple seems to be trying to do exactly that. While it may not be the best standing desk I've tested in absolute terms, there's a lot here I like. Considering the mid-range price (it costs $849), it feels like a high-quality product at a much cheaper price compared to some big-name brands out there. Granted, yes, there are not as many features as some of the others, and there are reasons those other companies charge more....

Sihoo Doro C300 Pro V2 review: A robust ergonomic office chair with more features than you probably know what to do with

Image
The Sihoo Doro C300 Pro V2 aims to keep the premium chair styling of some of Sihoo’s other chairs while also being a bit more wallet-friendly. Not everyone has north of $1,000 to drop on an ergonomic chair, and for those who do, they likely don’t want to spend it on just any chair; they want to make sure it’s a good value. That’s where the C300 Pro V2 comes in. This chair obviously reminds me a lot of the other Sihoo Doro chairs I have tested. But it also reminds me of the Hinomi line of chairs, with a thousand areas to adjust to make it comfortable. Sihoo Doro C300 Pro V2: Unboxing and First Impressions (Image credit: Collin Probst // Future ) My unboxing experience for the Sihoo Doro C300 Pro V2 was unique in a few ways. First of all, I had to have two delivered. My first model had a damaged wheel, but when flagging to Sihoo, they sent me a second chair. Once I got the second chair, I had just ...

BenQ RD280UG review: A monitor that makes 3:2 displays cool again, and I love the built-in lighting

Image
I’m a nerd when it comes to monitors. And, a bougie, particular, and spoiled nerd at that. I have had the great honor of working with and owning some of the best-of-the-best for years now. For this monitor, I’ll be honest, I expected it to be a subpar tool that I'd try and love, only to realize I would rather go back to what I know and love. I thought it would be one of those things where I think “ok, on paper it’s good, but I’ll just give it a shot to see if it’s any good in person.” Well, it’s been 128 days since I put this monitor on one of my heavily used setups, and now I can’t imagine ever taking it off my desk. I spend 5+ days a week, around 45+ hours total, on-site at a larger church where I serve on staff. I sit or stand at my desk there for a good chunk of that time, pouring over whatever system I am working on at that given time. I’m pulling up documents, databases, programming too...
