Samsung ViewFinity S9 (S27C90) review
This review first appeared in issue 357 of PC Pro. On its website, Samsung lists this monitor as the S90PC ViewFinity 5K Smart Monitor , but it feels more like a smart TV on first “boot”. We watched the first few minutes of Top Gun: Maverick and the detail was so rich on the 5K panel that we picked up several details we didn’t spot in the cinema. Samsung backs up the visuals with the best speakers here by some distance. Whisper it, but there’s even bass on show. You can also play games via Samsung’s Gaming Hub, with an option to sync your Amazon account via Luna. It supports Xbox Game Pass and Nvidia’s GeForce Now service...
