Feelmore Labs Cove

Image
Feelmore Labs Cove one-minute review Cove is just one of a raft of gizmos on the market aimed at helping you to relax and reduce your stress and anxiety levels. It comes as a combination package with a wearable headset and a supporting app making up the bundle. Following initial setup, simply pop the headset on, select a soothing 20-minute session from the app and enjoy the sensatory powers of this wearable on your nervous system. While Cove is a use-anywhere option, it also needs some refinement, with a headset that could be more fun to wear and an app that needs some tweaks on the functionality front too. We enjoyed its soothing powers but, personally, it’s not going to replace a 30-minute jog around the block for us. If you’re not willing, or able to go down that route though Cove is worth investigating, despite its high purchase price. Feelmore Labs Cove price and availability Cove costs $490 / £369 (about AU$674) purchased direct from Feelmore Labs , and the first iteration a...

Sensate 2

Image
Sensate 2 two-minute review Sensate 2 is billed as a state-of-the-art sensory device, which combines a plastic palm-sized, pebble-shaped chunk of hardware with an audio app. You hang the wearable around your neck with an included lanyard, while the audio app supplies lots of calming audio. Together, the pairing provides a powerful range of infrasonic sound waves that target the nervous system, most notably the vagus nerve. Used correctly the bundle can help to promote relaxation and build up your resilience to stress. Sensate 2 works to best effect if you’re lying down, so that you can rest the wearable on your chest bone, thereby allowing your body to absorb the best that this natty bit of tech has to offer. It certainly feels like it’s got the power and ingenuity to work, although we’re still unsure of just how effective the pairing really is. Specialized Turbo Como SL

Image
Two-minute review The Specialized Turbo Como SL is an e-bike that looks and feels quite special thanks to its striking aluminum frame design. It’s light enough to use without electric assistance, but works to best effect when you’re under power as this is quite a substantial two-wheeler. We loved the smooth belt drive, which beats a chain hands down, although gear changes were less impressive. The overall quality of the design, build and selection of components on offer here is excellent. Ultimately, this is a very decent everyday cruising type of e-bike , ideally suited to anyone who wants to leave the car at home more often than they do at the moment. The front-mounted basket is a real boon, and doesn’t move as you turn the handlebars, meaning the weight of your shopping doesn’t shift around either. We found the Specialized Turbo Como SL perfect for quick visits to the shops and back, although its imposing design might not suit everyone. A definite try-before-you-buy electric bi...

Furo Systems Furo X

Image
Two-minute review The Furo X e-bike arrives at a time of change when it comes to commuting. Not everyone is planning on going back to the office, which might compromise the appeal of this electric two-wheeler. However, the good news for British cycle manufacturer Furo Systems is that the Furo X is still a very useful proposition, even if you’re not going to be using it for trips to and from the office. What we’ve got here is a lightweight folding e-bike , weighing just 15kg, that collapses with remarkable simplicity and can be put up again just as easily. It’s well built, has some very practical design features and provides you with a comfortable ride despite the small commuter bike wheels. The Furo X can also handle a wide range of riders, between 5’2” and 6’2” up to a maximum weight of 100kg. (Image credit: Rob Clymo) While the bike can be pedaled perfectly happily using the Shimano Sora 9 speed gears, the rear-mounted Bafang hub motor and Samsung Lithium-ion battery co...

Raleigh Array e-bike

Image
Two-minute review Raleigh used to be the bike brand in the UK, not to mention farther afield, with a range of cycles that put Nottingham on the map and got plenty of us interested in the freedom of a two-wheeler. That was a long time ago, though. The Raleigh name is still around, but a bike like the Array is more a compendium of parts from different sources nowhere near Nottingham, albeit assembled to make an interesting hybrid e-bike that offers great value. This is certainly a bold attempt at producing a fun and funky e-bike, with a quirky touch of style that makes it stand out from the crowd. And, even if you’re not smitten by the two-tone paintwork, tan tyres along with matching saddle and handlebar grips, the Raleigh Array packs in enough quality components to make it a reasonably serious performer too. (Image credit: Rob Clymo) There are five modes of power from a Suntour Canbus E25 rear-wheel motor, a seven-speed Suntour/Shimano gearing setup, and beefy Tektro brak...

Image
Zoho Workplace is yet another product from this publisher based in India.
