Fossil Gen 6 – recension

Image

Amazon Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition (2021) review

Image
Two-minute review Among Amazon’s current ereaders, the new Kindle Paperwhite (2021) is a middle-of-the-road model that has everything you need to read – but the Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition has just a little bit more.  The Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition is essentially a rebranded version of the previous Paperwhite’s higher-storage configuration, with those aforementioned extras (wireless charging and an auto-sensing screen dimmer). We don’t feel the bonus perks justify the Signature Edition’s significantly higher price, but if someone did want to pay for more features, this is the model to choose. The Signature Edition has the same design as the standard Kindle Paperwhite 2021, which is the first upgrade on the ereader since 2018. Both versions have some obvious improvements from the 2018 ereader, like smaller bezels around the screen and a bigger 6.8-inch display (up from six inches on their predecessor).   While the 2021 ereader doesn’t have a drastically di...

ZTE Axon 30

Image
Two-minute review The Axon 30 is ZTE’s next flagship phone that packs a ton of impressive specs alongside its standout feature: a truly edge-to-edge screen. Unlike nearly every other phone on the market, the Axon 30’s display doesn’t have a notch or cutout for the front-facing camera. Jump to... Release date and price Design Display Camera Performance and specs Battery life Should I buy it? To achieve this, ZTE has incorporated an under-display camera, one of the few in mainstream phones, which is visible when you’re taking front-facing photos but - disappears completely when not in use.  Well, almost completely, for if you look closely there’s a small off-color square that the camera hides behind.  It’s effective in hiding the selfie camera for an uninterrupted screen, which leads to an inarguably better display experience than any other phone on the market with a notch or punch-hole. For many, the absence of a screen notch or other cutout alone will be enoug...

Google Pixel 6

Image
The Google Pixel 6 is the biggest update to the search giant’s smartphone line in years, and while Google’s new Tensor chipset doesn’t quite reinvent the wheel, it empowers the handset’s photo software to produce some of the best images we’ve seen from a phone. The Pixel 6 is a more premium device than its predecessors, delivering a sleeker design and more powerful cameras. Most notably, it packs Google’s new Tensor chipset, the first silicon built by the company.  However, if you were expecting a powerhouse to rival the Apple-built A-series Bionic chipsets in iPhones, you’ll be disappointed. The Pixel 6 isn’t slow, but its benchmark results put its performance capability around atypical phones such as the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 and below even the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE .  Jump to... Release date and price Design Display Camera Performance and specs Battery life Should I buy it? That’s okay for a phone at the Pixel 6’s price, though. The phone also packs 8GB ...
