One-minute review The Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max pushes the streaming stick form factor to its apex, offering faster performance and support for the latest Wi-Fi standards. That said, while a lot of work has clearly been done under the hood, the user interface for Amazon’s latest streamer remains the same as previous years, and focuses broadly on Amazon’s key streaming service, Amazon Prime Video. That last bit makes it a great streaming stick for Amazon Prime members, but a rather lousy one if you don’t want to shell out for Amazon’s all-in-one subscription service. The good news is that video streaming is only half of what a Fire Stick can do. It’s also able to keep track of your smart home devices and supports Amazon’s Luna game streaming service – making it a great rival to Google’s excellent Chromecast with Google TV .
