Windows 11 is finally here - which in some ways is surprising, as Windows 10 was heralded as the last ever update of Windows - one that would receive updates over the years, and eventually, decades. However, there’s a saying that you either have to move with the times, or the times moves you, which is seemingly why we’re now seeing Windows 11, the first major update to the operating system in years. Showcasing a redesigned theme, new-look apps from the past and present, alongside a better touch interface, it’s an update that looks to have catered to casual users, and up to a point, power users as well. There’s still plenty of room for improvement for Windows 11, but for what’s here on its release, it’s an alluring update that looks to shape the future of Microsoft, both for its software and hardware, for the next decade.
