HyperX Pulsefire Haste 2 Pro: Two-minute review The HyperX Pulsefire Haste 2 Pro is the latest iteration of the brand’s line of elite gaming mice, promising stellar performance and design. It adopts a sleek form fairly typical for a gaming mouse, and it looks the part. The Slate Grey finish, which is the only available, doesn’t inject the Pulsefire Haste 2 Pro with much vibrancy, but it’s inoffensive enough, and the black accents side buttons and scroll wheel add some interest. One aspect that sets it apart from many others is the prominent central hump, as the mouse buttons rake downwards sharply, creating a unique feel. In my hand this descent began almost flush with the second knuckles of my two forefingers, which was ideal as I could easily flex to click. Logitech Pro X Superlight 2 Dex: Two-minute review The Logitech Pro X Superlight 2 Dex is a striped-back gaming mouse focused on performance above all else. Its looks are understated, and one could easily mistake it for a productivity mouse rather than one designed for gaming, especially given its lack of RGB lighting. However, the white and pink colorways do add an element of vibrancy. It has a long profile, and the side walls curve inwards sharply. The mouse buttons also feel quite short, and have a steeper downwards rake than some rivals I’ve experienced, which emphasizes more contact with the finger tips. Coupled with the aforementioned concave figure, the Pro X Superlight 2 Dex encourages a claw-style grip. Boulies Master Rex gaming chair: One-minute review The Boulies Master Rex is a relaxed gaming chair with an integrated leg rest and various adjustments for improved comfort and versatility. It’s a good-looking chair, and the Charcoal Grey finish on my review unit made it appear even smarter, although I found the black suede accents a little jarring and unnecessary. Overall, though, this is a relatively understated gaming chair that wouldn’t look out of place in any environment. I also had the water-repellent fabric finish which was very nice, feeling as good as the finishes on the best gaming chairs around. The rest of the chair is similarly premium, although the head pillow isn’t quite up to the same standards, with a cheaper-feeling material and lacking plushness – but it’s still sufficiently comfortable and supportive. Samsung Galaxy Book5 360: Two-minute review The Samsung Galaxy Book5 360 is a 15.6-inch convertible laptop, featuring a fully rotatable lid for tablet-style use. It has a remarkably slender form, thanks to its ultra-thin profile. However, while the Galaxy Book5 360 is light for a laptop, it’s still a little too weighty to be used as a tablet comfortably for extended sessions. From a build quality perspective, the Galaxy Book5 360 is engineered as well as the best laptops around. Every material and component feels premium, including the lid hinge which operates flawlessly, offering plenty of stability without being hard to move. The port selection is good as well, although a few placements are a little inconvenient. Mobapad N1 HD: one-minute review (Image credit: Future) The Mobapad N1 HD is a Nintendo Switch controller aimed towards more serious gamers, thanks to its versatile functionality and premium features. It doesn’t look particularly spectacular, and it even lacks RGB lighting, a common feature on many third-party controllers. It does, however, look a little more distinct in its pink and purple colorway. On close inspection, you can tell the N1 HD is built to a high standard, rivaling some of the best Nintendo Switch controllers . The materials feel premium and the construction is solid, yet it’s also very light in the hand and comfortable to hold – although those with larger hands might find it a bit too small. The buttons and sticks also feel great, offering a pleasing amount of dampening and smoothness for the most part. VRURC T6S power bank review The T6S is a small power bank with an eye-catching appearance. The light pink colorway of my review unit was certainly striking, and the small rainbow stripe adds a nice accent to the overall finish. It also comes in black, white, and light blue finishes. Quite why it has the design of a digital camera from 20 years ago I’m not sure, but this does lend it a fun, retro charm. The faux camera lens also cleverly doubles as an LED display, which is very bright and clear, although it only displays the battery level of the T6S and nothing else. The T6S is pleasingly compact for a 10k power bank, being shorter and thinner than some of the best power banks with the same capacity. However, it’s quite thick in terms of depth, so some may struggle to fit this comfortably in their pocket. Jiga 27000mAh Power Bank review The Jiga Power Bank is a capacious power bank with a 22.5W maximum output, designed to offer plenty of charges for your smaller devices. It probably won’t win any awards for its looks, as it adopts a strictly utilitarian design. There are variants with orange and red front panels, but that’s the only flourish you get. The build quality of the Jiga Power Bank seems good at least: the chassis feels reasonably sturdy and the power button functioned well during my time with it. However, it isn’t as thin or as light as the best power banks out there, although given its 27,000mAh capacity, this isn’t much of a surprise. There are five small LEDs surrounding the power button: four to indicate battery level and a lightning symbol that turns green to indicate charging – a handy visual to reassure you that your device is definitely charging.
