Five-minute review With the MacBook Pro 16-inch (2021), Apple has made a premium portable that can’t be beat. Released along with its smaller counterpart, the MacBook Pro 14-inch (2021), in October of 2021, this exceptional machine has redefined what a professional notebook is capable of. Not only is the successor to 2019’s 16-inch MacBook Pro a complete redesign, but it also gets an incredible boost in power and adds some fantastic new features as well. Both new Pro models come equipped with the same hardware, specifically the new M1 Pro or M1 Max chips , so the difference in performance between these two machines is minimal. However, they’re not the same. The 16-inch model reviewed here does come with a larger display as well as higher resolution and has a longer battery life too. If portability is a priority for your notebook needs, take a look at our in-depth MacBook Pro 14-inch (2021) review since that will most likely fit your needs better. But, if more screen real estate a...

Five-minute review The MacBook Pro 16-Inch (2021) might be a brand new offering from Apple, but you may be able to find some deals out there this Black Friday and Cyber Monday if you buy it from a different retailer. Though, if you’re looking for more significant discounts on Apple laptops, you’re better off going with the 2020 releases such as the 13-inch MacBook Pro M1 and the MacBook Air M1 . It doesn’t get any more premium than the MacBook Pro 16-inch (2021). This flagship portable, which was released in October of 2021 along with its smaller counterpart, the MacBook Pro 14-inch (2021), has pushed the boundaries of what you can expect out of a professional laptop. It not only overhauls the design of 2019’s 16-inch MacBook Pro , but also adds in some great new features and an impressive amount of performance. The performance of the Apple MacBook Pro 16-inch (2021) is incredibly similar to that of the slightly more portable MacBook Pro 14-inch (2021), thanks to the fact th...

Five-minute review The MacBook Pro 16-inch (2021) is Apple’s flagship professional laptop, launched alongside the MacBook Pro 14-inch (2021) in October 2021. As a follow-up to 2019’s 16-inch MacBook Pro , this new model brings some fantastic new features and an overhauled design. It also offers a level of performance that is no doubt highly impressive, but which not everyone will need. Apart from the screen size, resolution and battery life, the Apple MacBook Pro 16-inch (2021) is incredibly similar to the smaller MacBook Pro 14-inch (2021), offering the same hardware (a choice of Apple’s new M1 Pro or M1 Max chips ) which results in pretty similar performance. Because of this, make sure to check out our comprehensive MacBook Pro 14-inch (2021) review for a full rundown of what these new MacBook Pros bring. Being the larger of the two, and Apple’s flagship MacBook, it’ll come as little surprise to learn that the MacBook Pro 16-inch (2021) is a pricey laptop, starting at $2,499 (£...
